Celebrity Media Special：On August 11th, local time, the United Nations Headquarters hosted the momentous Global International Youth Day Youth Conference. Hundreds of young delegates from around the world gathered to celebrate this special occasion.

The aim of this youth conference is to provide a platform for young individuals to exchange ideas, share their experiences and perspectives, explore global youth issues, and emphasize the significance of sustainable development. The attending youth delegates come from over 100 different countries, each with diverse cultural backgrounds, representing outstanding achievements and an innovative spirit across various fields.

During the conference's opening ceremony, senior officials including Csaba Kőrösi the President of the 77th UN General Assembly, Maher Nasser the Director of the Department of Global Communications Outreach Division delivered speeches. They emphasized the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future, encouraging young individuals to courageously embrace challenges and actively contribute to global sustainable progress. Simultaneously, they reiterated the United Nations' commitment to supporting and advocating for youth engagement in social, political, and economic affairs.

The conference was organized by the AFS Intercultural Programs. The President Daniel Obst of AFS Intercultural Programs delivered the welcoming address,  Yumna Khan Director of AFS Intercultural Programs along with the Youth Strategy Initiative Director presided the assembly openning. Throughout the event, youth representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on a myriad of topics, spanning education, innovation, employment, social equity, and more. They shared their insights, showcasing their passion and sense of responsibility for the global future.
