World Peaceever Foundation TV According to the UN video news reprint report: Ukrainian refugee Nataliia “Natasha” shares her journey a month after the start of the war. She arrived in Lisbon, Portugal with her daughter at the end of a daunting journey, leaving her husband behind, defending his country. Her biggest fear now is that she cannot meet her husband anymore.
Natallia Vladimirova, aka Natasha, is an account, an auditor and was University teacher in Kharkiv before her daughter was born. She left her apartment on the first day of the war, in February 24th, along her husband and 4-year-old daughter Oleksandra Rodenko.
Now she takes refuge in Lisbon, Portugal with her daughter and mother-in-law, Natallia Rodenko. Her husband had to stay in Ukraine. They arrived in a humanitarian flight organized by the Portuguese government on March 14th. They didn’t have any connections in the city, but with the help of volunteers, found a Portuguese family that opened the doors of their apartment to them.
They are in the process to obtain refugee status. Portugal has granted temporary protection status to more than 25,000 people arriving from Ukraine.The interview was conducted by Leda Letra / UN PORTUGUESE NEWS
