The Working Group on Girls seeks to listen to girls to hear what they need and to partner with them and key stakeholders in finding sustainable solutions to issues that they face and ensure their rights are upheld. This year, in recognition of the existing and growing gaps in the fulfillment of girls’ rights, including losses in girls’ access to education during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in light of commitments made to girls for the Generation Equality Forum, our International Day of the Girl focus will be “IDG+10: Mind the Gap- Girls’ Rights Now!”
