That evening, Li Guiming, Ambassador of Chinese Fu Culture and calligrapher, attended the reception by invitation and delivered “Three Blessings” on site through a video message, extending National Day wishes to the motherland, the people, and the world through traditional Chinese Fu culture.

Li Guiming said at the event: “It is my great honor to attend tonight's celebration hosted by the Chinese Mission to the United Nations marking the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. I am Li Guiming, Ambassador of Chinese Fu Culture. On this occasion, I would like to offer three blessings:

First, a blessing for our nation and homeland: May our great motherland enjoy prosperity, strength, peace, and security!

Second, a blessing for every family: May people across the country enjoy a happy Mid-Autumn Festival, good health, success in all endeavors, and happiness in every home!

Third, a blessing for civilization: May Fu culture serve as a bond to promote world peace and friendship, strengthen the spiritual connection among overseas Chinese communities, and carry the spirit and blessings of Chinese Fu culture throughout the world.”

From the “Blessing for the Nation and Homeland” to the “Blessing for Every Family,” and then to the “Blessing for Civilization,” Li Guiming extends the traditional Chinese concept of Fu from personal and family well-being to patriotism, cultural exchange, and world peace.

In recent years, Li Guiming has continued to promote overseas cultural exchange through Chinese calligraphy and Fu culture. The Chinese character “Fu,” meaning blessing and good fortune, embodies the Chinese people's hopes for health, family reunion, and a better life, while also serving as a means for him to convey goodwill to people from different cultural backgrounds.

At this National Day reception, the “Three Blessings” also echoed the festive atmosphere of both National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival. The first blessing expressed wishes for the prosperity of the motherland and peace for the nation and its people; the second was dedicated to families, wishing them reunion, health, and happiness; and the third drew upon Chinese culture, using “Fu” as a cultural bond to express hopes for greater exchange, friendship, and peace.

In his remarks that evening, China's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Fu Cong, stated that China would continue to support multilateralism and the work of the United Nations, and would work together with countries around the world to promote peace and development. On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, he also extended his best wishes to the motherland, the Chinese people, and the world.

At this international gathering of diplomats and guests from various sectors, Li Guiming used the “Three Blessings” to convey traditional Chinese festive wishes while giving the traditional character “Fu” a broader meaning in the context of cultural exchange.

May the nation be blessed, may every family be blessed, and may civilizations share the blessing of peace.

Li Guiming said he hopes to continue using calligraphy as a medium and “Fu” as a bridge, allowing Chinese Fu culture to transcend geography and language, share the positive values embodied in Chinese culture with audiences overseas, and help more people experience Chinese culture, deepen mutual understanding, and strengthen friendship through the single character “Fu.”
