Celebrity media reporter Ouyang Zongluan reports: Columbia University doctoral student Wang Chen successfully held a piano concert titled “Journey of Love and Peace” on December 8th. This event not only marked the centennial celebration of the establishment of Columbia University’s International Research Institute, but also a grand event of cultural and artistic exchange.
Wang Chen shared her profound insights into music and peace. She emphasized that music is a bridge connecting different cultures and promoting understanding. Her concert aimed to spread love and hope, strengthen cultural exchanges and interactions among leaders, artists, and education experts from all sectors of global society. Wang Chen’s vision is to break the boundaries between people and nature through cultural and artistic exchanges, to achieve harmonious coexistence. She firmly believes in seeking coexistence in cultural differences and is committed to creating a world without war and peaceful coexistence.
With her superb playing skills and profound musical foundation, Wang Chen performed some classic works to the fullest, winning the warm applause of the audience.

In an interview, Wang Chen said: “The ‘Journey of Love and Peace’ came to perform at Columbia University, which is a fate. The ‘Journey of Love and Peace’ Wang Chen piano concert tour, spreading love and hope is something I will always strive to do. This year coincides with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Columbia University’s International Research Institute, and I am also preparing to hold a piano concert of Love and Peace Journey. The two things coincide with each other, which is a coincidence. I think it is a deep fate.”
Wang Chen said: “These two conferences have given a deeper connotation and great significance to the theme of love and peace. World-renowned artists, education experts, and leaders and elites from all sectors of global society, through cultural exchanges and interactions, have enhanced the mutual understanding of people from different countries and regions, and experienced great love in the exchange and integration of cultures of various countries.”
Wang Chen also said: “I think the earth is a small village. In this small village, the fate of all life forms is closely connected. What we seek is coexistence in differences, and finally break the boundaries and live in harmony. I hope that there will be no war in the world and peace forever. I hope that through the exchange and integration of culture and art, people, organisms, and nature can fully understand and appreciate each other, and finally merge into one, harmoniously coexist, and obtain long-lasting happiness and peace. This is the dream in my heart.”

The successful holding of this concert not only added a strong stroke to the centennial celebration of the establishment of Columbia University’s International Research Institute, but also spread the concept of love and peace to people all over the world.
