Editor’s Note from Celebrity Media: To promote the international dissemination of Chinese culinary culture, the Board of Directors of the Celebrity Media Foundation has meticulously planned and launched a series of Chinese cuisine cultural experience events for senior executives of the United Nations Delegation Restaurant. As the first stop of this cultural exchange, the Board specifically selected Evergreen On 38, a restaurant located in the heart of Manhattan. On March 26, Celebrity Media CEO Chen Miao hosted several senior managers from the UN Delegation Restaurant at Evergreen, joined by Celebrity Media's Director of Network AI Technology Vincent, Deputy Director Enze Bai, and Jeffery Liu, President of the Asian Culinary Institute of America.

The Celebrity Media Foundation Board organized the Chinese Culinary Culture Experience Series as a response to the strong support shown by the UNDDR during the recent “Women for Peace: Art and Thought Forum” hosted by Celebrity Media. It also reflects the Foundation’s active support for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals in international public welfare.

The Celebrity Media Board chose Evergreen as the first stop precisely because the restaurant specializes in Huaiyang cuisine, known for its light, fresh, and moderately sweet and savory flavors. These characteristics not only showcase the delicacy and sophistication of Chinese cuisine but also serve as a gentle introduction for international guests, avoiding the discomfort that may come from overly spicy or strong flavors. Evergreen's cuisine embraces inclusiveness and is renowned for its Huaiyang roots—one of the Eight Great Cuisines of Chinese culinary tradition, frequently featured at state banquets.

The elegant, modern dining environment and strong artistic ambiance of Evergreen also became a highlight of this experience. The restaurant features a series of mosaic oil paintings by contemporary artist Shicun, offering guests a unique cultural and sensory experience.

This experience arranged by the Celebrity Media Board at Evergreen was not only a journey of taste but also a novel bridge connecting Chinese cuisine with the international stage, facilitating mutual appreciation between Eastern and Western culinary cultures. It marked yet another active exploration and practical step taken by the Celebrity Media Foundation in promoting cultural exchange through food.
